With which programs is Team Empower affiliated?

Empower Gymnastics is affiliated with USAG & the JGL.

What levels is Team open to?

Team Empower competes USAG level 3-6. Gymnasts must meet the level 3 skill requirements on all events to qualify for Team.

What are the Level 3 skill requirements?
Bars: glide, pullover, double back hip circle, front hip circle and squat on.
Beam: snap turn, handstand, leap, side cartwheel to half turn dismount.
Floor: front limber kickover, back extention roll, roundoff backhandspring.
Gymnasts must compete on all events.
How often is practice?

Team practice is held twice a week for 3 hours, with a total of 6 training hours per week.

How often are meets? Is attendance at all meets mandatory?
Meets are held triannually. Gymnasts are not required to attend all meets.

What events are included?

Events include: Uneven bars, balance beam and floor.
